Perfect Opportunity for an Organised, Proactive Operator to Run the Workshop Floor About The Company Our client is a professional team of hydraulic and mechanical specialists based in the Fraser Coast, just 15 minutes from Hervey Bay.

About The Opportunity The primary purpose of this position is to run the day-to-day operation of the workshop, keeping technicians on the tools, jobs flowing, and customers informed.

Responsibilities - Manage customer service: phones, bookings, repair updates, and collections
Coordinate workshop scheduling: track jobs, technicians, and priorities to minimise downtime
Build and follow up quotes; apply pricing, freight and labour correctly
Source and order parts, manage inventory, and coordinate warranty claims
Own each job from approval through to invoicing




Coordinate mobile service jobs, breakdowns, and route planning for service trucks
Proactively support technicians with parts, approvals, and customer calls
Follow up quotes and dormant customers; promote mobile service and preventative maintenance About You - Strong organisational skills, able to juggle multiple jobs
Excellent communication with customers, technicians, and suppliers
Proactive, problem-solving mindset
Good computer skills; quick to learn recent software
Mechanically minded or interested in hydraulic/mechanical equipment (willing to learn)
