We are partnering with a well-established construction business to recruit a Senior HR Advisor on a 13‑month parental leave contract commencing September 2026 . Based in Melbourne, this role will support leaders and employees across multiple sites throughout Victoria and South Australia, providing trusted advice across the full employee lifecycle.

Employee and workplace relations
Enterprise Agreement interpretation and application
Performance management and disciplinary processes
Workplace investigations and case management
Coaching and supporting leaders through complex people matters
Organisational change and consultation processes
HR reporting and cyclical people initiatives
Succession and talent activities
Mentoring and early‑career development programmes
Supporting employee engagement and broader People & Culture projects
This is a highly visible role that will involve regular engagement with operational and site‑based leaders. You will be expected to travel around metro Melbourne sites and occasional travel to SA sites also.
Your Experience
Previous experience in a Senior HR Advisor, HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role
Strong employee relations and workplace relations capability
Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements and employment legislation
Demonstrated experience managing performance matters and workplace investigations
Confidence partnering with leaders at varying levels of the organisation
A proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.
Previous experience with Workday is beneficial but not required.
Experience within construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, logistics or another operationally focused setting will be highly regarded.
The Logistics
13‑month parental leave contract commencing in September
Salary of $130,000 + super
1‑day each week on site expected as minimum.
2 days WFH each week - although please be flexible on which days.
