HSE Manager | Civil & Infrastructure Projects | Sydney

An established civil contractor is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join the business during an exciting period of growth and succession planning.

This is a key leadership role for someone who enjoys building systems, influencing culture, and driving safety performance across multiple projects.

Working across both site and office settings, you will play a major part in improving HSEQ systems, supporting operational teams, and helping elevate standards across the business.

Responsibilities
Lead and improve HSEQ systems and processes across the business
Drive safety performance and continuous improvement initiatives
Support project teams across multiple active civil/infrastructure projects
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, ISO standards, and client requirements
Coordinate and support internal and external audits




Provide guidance and mentorship to operational teams
Assist with tender submissions and future project planning

About You
Solid background within civil construction or infrastructure projects
Experience managing HSEQ systems within a contractor workplace
Knowledge of ISO management systems and audit processes
Experience working on government-funded projects highly regarded
Ability to influence teams and drive positive safety culture
Rail project exposure beneficial but not essential
Relevant WHS qualifications required
