We're partnering with a well‑known Australian organisation that is investing heavily in its Identity & Access Management capability. As part of a broader cyber security uplift, they're looking for a Senior IAM Engineer to take ownership of designing, implementing and improving enterprise IAM solutions across a complex setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale identity transformation projects, influence technical direction and collaborate with architects, security and infrastructure teams.
What you'll do
Design, implement and support enterprise IAM solutions.
Build and enhance automated Joiner, Mover & Leaver (JML) processes.
Integrate applications with modern authentication and identity platforms.
Improve identity governance, RBAC and access lifecycle management.
Work closely with Cyber Security, Infrastructure and Application teams to deliver secure identity solutions.
Troubleshoot complex IAM issues and provide technical leadership across the engineering function.
Contribute to platform improvements, automation and best practice.
What you'll bring
Strong experience working as an IAM Engineer within large enterprise environments.
Experience with one or more IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity or One Identity.
Solid understanding of authentication protocols including SAML, OAuth, OIDC and LDAP.
Experience integrating applications and APIs into IAM platforms.
Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python or similar.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
