Support Worker – Children's CPS Program

Anglicare Sydney is looking for a supportive, caring skilled to join our Children’s Child Protective Services (CPS) program. The role involves delivering person‑centred care to children, families and multidisciplinary teams, fostering safe and engaging settings for children to develop confidence and wellbeing.

Responsibilities
Support children to participate in meaningful activities that promote confidence and wellbeing.
Provide safe, respectful and person‑centred care while maintaining appropriate supervision.
Maintain accurate documentation in line with legislative, funding and organisational requirements.
Build positive relationships with children, families and multidisciplinary teams.
Promote safe work practices and contribute to a positive team culture.

Qualifications
Certificate III in Community Services, Community Welfare or equivalent.
Current NSW First Aid Certificate.




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to child safety and person‑centred practice.

Preferred
Experience supporting children and young people.
Experience working within community services.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Understanding of trauma‑informed practice.
Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and community partners.
