Key Position Tasks:

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to contribute to the overall success of MBV by managing the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Prepare any post month-end accounting journals, including accruals, revenue recognition and other standing and ad hoc entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
Support payment processing, liaise with creditors and debtors, manage reconciliations and set up current supplier accounts
Ensure compliance with financial, tax,



and corporate obligations, including the calculation and submission of FBT, GST, BAS, and other ATO requirements within specified deadlines
Provide technical advice on financial management and accounting policies to internal and external stakeholders
Liaise with external auditors and assist in preliminary and year-end audit procedures

Key Skills, Attributes and Experience:
Degree and CA or CPA qualifications
Experience with financial management systems and solutions such as Concur, Netsuite and Microsoft Dynamics is desirable
Experience managing direct reports/AP or AR is desirable
