Key Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol commercial and industrial premises to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets.
Control access to buildings by checking identification and authorising entry of visitors, contractors, and staff.
Conduct routine security patrols and inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and security breaches.
Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity records.
Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment to detect and report suspicious activities.
Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations and incident management.
Provide skilled customer service by assisting visitors and responding to enquiries.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures and company security policies.
Liaise with management, emergency services, and law enforcement when required.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar security role is preferred.
Current Western Australian Security Officer Licence (or eligibility to obtain one).
Current First Aid Certificate (desirable).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
