About the role

Join the team at R & R Medical Pty Ltd as a Medical Receptionist in our Townsville, QLD clinic ( Mater Medical Centre). This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the chance to support our patients and medical team. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital part in ensuring our patients receive a warm and skilled experience.

What you'll be doing
Greeting and welcoming patients to the clinic in a friendly and professional manner
Scheduling appointments and managing the patient booking system
Handling patient inquiries and providing information about clinic services
Collecting patient information and maintaining accurate medical records
Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying and inventory management
Working closely with the medical team to ensure smooth clinic operations

What we're looking for
Previous experience as a medical receptionist or similar customer service role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients and staff in a friendly and professional manner
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to efficiently manage a busy clinic setting




Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems
A caring and empathetic attitude with a commitment to excellent patient care
Flexibility to work in a casual role with the ability to adapt to changing schedules
