Meter Technician Electrician – Full Time

Location: Adelaide Hills, SA
Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week (Saturdays may be required)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in the Adelaide Hills as a Meter Technician. In this role, you will carry out electrical work relating to the installation, testing, and maintenance of smart meters and associated equipment. You’ll ensure secure, effective, and high-quality delivery of daily activities in line with client, business, and industry expectations.

All required specialised training/authorisations

Key Responsibilities




Complete meter installations, exchanges, maintenance, testing, and special investigations
Perform troubleshooting and wiring verification on metering systems
Obtain load profile and other data from metering equipment
Promote compliance with industry standards and internal policies
Support MQE performance KPIs across safety, delivery, and customer satisfaction
Ensure timely and accurate data capture and completion of documentation, including risk assessments
Comply with all policies, procedures, privacy, and confidentiality requirements

Requirements
Must be a qualified electrician (essential)
Meter Technician experience desirable
Must be willing to travel for work as required
Must be available for some Saturdays as part of operational needs
