Emerge is a specialist family violence service in Victoria’s Southern Region, providing refuge accommodation, case management, transitional housing, outreach and therapeutic support to women and children escaping family/domestic violence.
We’re looking for a Senior Children’s Case Manager to lead specialist support for children and young people who have experienced or witnessed family violence. You’ll provide trauma-informed, child-centred case management, deliver individual and family sessions, co-facilitate groups, and work alongside secure caregivers to rebuild the parent-child relationship.
This ongoing role is an exciting chance to elevate children’s voices in case planning, provide therapeutic support toward long-term recovery, and help them participate and thrive, within a team guided by collaboration, respect, courage, creativity, inclusivity, impact and kindness.
You’ll bring:
A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Community Development or a related field; extensive experience in MARAM risk assessment; robust case management and trauma-informed practice skills; and a genuine understanding of the gendered nature of family violence. Experience running groups and working directly with children and young people affected by trauma is highly valued.
Requirements: Police Check, Working with Children Check, current Victorian Driver’s Licence, and the right to work in Australia.
If you’re driven to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families recovering from family violence, we’d love to hear from you.
