We are looking to fill a full time Winemaker position at our Yenda Winery. The ideal addition to our winemaking team will be a passionate and driven individual with large winery experience.
Responsibilities will include:Vinification and preparation of high-quality winesWorking within a team environmentDevelop new wine styles in line with customers’ expectationsPublic Relations/Wine TastingsTrial work to improve quality and cost reductionMonitor safety standards and ensure cellar operations are conducted in accordance with safety requirements
The ideal candidate will have:Tertiary or equivalent degree in Winemaking or OenologyDemonstrated large winery experienceA team player with effective leadership and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work independently, managing your own workload and prioritiesShow evidence of excellent supervision, organising and planning skills including use of computer systemsDemonstrate positive presentation and effective communication skillsA practical understanding of running a large winery on a profitable basis This is a long-term career prospect with ongoing mentorship and supportive management.
