ORIX, a leader in the rental and mobility space, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Rental Operations Assistant to help maintain our fleet and ensure smooth operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring ORIX’s assets are meticulously cleaned, inspected, and prepared for hire but also jumping into the office work when required!
INCLUDED IN WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Assist in all branch activities to keep things humming along.
Ensure assets shine and are ready for hire in a timely manner.
Handle minor repairs on vehicles and trailers, including changing mudflaps, fixing lights, and replacing bulbs.
Manage vehicle collection and delivery, ensuring yard presentation is always on point.
Stay informed about all asset classes and equipment specifications across the ORIX Rental and Mobility fleet.
Branch administration including filing, payment remittance, and preparation of rental agreements.
Be the key point of contact for inbound phone enquiries.
Process counter, online, and phone enquiries and follow these through to Rental Reservations.
Ensure accurate processing of all invoices and rental agreements.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
Robust attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
A keen eye for monitoring and reporting vehicle defects and servicing needs.
Basic computer skills to keep everything organised.
Ability to lift manually in a safe manner and tackle minor asset repairs.
Experience in customer service, with transport and or rental activities preferred.
Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced setting.
Motor Vehicle licence required.
Forklift, MC, HC or HR driver license desirable
