We’re looking for a driven and detail-focused Accountant to join our Finance team in Applecross.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, duties will include but are not limited to:
Aid and supervise the accounts team to ensure processes are delivered on time.
Month end processes including general journals and maintaining the Prepayments and Fixed Asset schedules.
General Ledger reconciliations.
Assist with month end reporting and Board pack preparation.
Assist with yearly group budget preparation.
Assist with external audit preparation.
Update and maintain the Share Register and PPSR as required.
Update and maintain the Bond register and record coupon payments,



purchases and sales.
Statutory reporting including Superannuation, BAS, IAS, and FBT.

Selection Criteria:
Relevant tertiary qualifications with either CPA / CA designation.
Experience with ERP systems. (Business Central advantageous).
Solid Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel.
Reliability, integrity and have a strong work ethic.
General office duties as required.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
A resourceful, creative mindset with a positive can-do attitude.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to prioritise workflow and meet deadlines.
Able to work autonomously and within a small team.
