ROLE – Mechanical Engineer – Water & Wastewater
SALARY - $110,000 - $150,000 per annum, dependent on experience
TYPE – Permanent
My client provides specialist engineering solutions across the Water and Wastewater sector, delivering cutting-edge treatment systems and engineered solutions for industrial and infrastructure projects.
They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team in Adelaide. This role would suit an engineer with experience in water treatment, wastewater, process systems, packaged plant equipment, piping systems, or similar industrial engineering environments.
The Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
At least 2 years of experience in a Mechanical, Civil, or Design, Engineering role
Experience working on Water, Wastewater, Industrial Process, Utilities, or similar engineering projects
Experience delivering water treatment, wastewater treatment, utilities, pipelines, pumping stations, treatment plants, process systems or similar infrastructure projects
Able to read and interpret P&IDs; and engineering drawings
Ideally have experience using 3D CAD software
Experience working through project lifecycles,
from design through to construction, commissioning or handover
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
Robust project coordination, technical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
The Mechanical Engineer role will involve:
Producing concept designs, detailed engineering drawings, and 3D models
Assisting with the design, specification and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure and treatment systems
Working collaboratively with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal engineering teams
Providing technical engineering support across design, procurement, construction and commissioning
Preparing and reviewing engineering documentation, reports and technical information
Coordinating project activities to ensure programmes, budgets and quality requirements are achieved
Supporting assembly, testing, and commissioning activities where required
Working within a cooperative, growing engineering team on a variety of projects
