7 Mile Beach Golf, one of the world’s most-talked about recent golf courses, is looking for an experienced and qualified turf professional. This is a rare prospect to work on a true links site just 20 minutes from downtown Hobart, helping to present a modern, minimalist design to the highest international standards. You’ll be part of a small, committed team responsible for delivering firm, fast, beautifully presented playing surfaces in a spectacular coastal environment. The imminent construction of the North course adds another dimension to the prospect.
Reporting to the Course Superintendent, you will take a hands‑on role in all aspects of course preparation and maintenance, including mowing, renovation, irrigation, machinery operation and basic upkeep, along with contributing to project and construction works as the venue evolves. You’ll bring a recognised turf qualification (or equivalent experience),
a strong understanding of golf course conditioning and safety, and the ability to consistently deliver high standards in a dynamic, weather‑driven environment. Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends as part of a roster is essential.
