NOT ALL BOILERMAKERS/WELDERS ARE FABRICATED THE SAME!
Our Embleton-based client services Western Australia's communications and power industries, utilising skilled workers and state-of-the-art machinery. With a pipeline of contracts, they are seeking a qualified Boilermaker or Coded Welder (who can read drawings) to perform light fabrication work and convert shipping sea containers into battery-powered/zero-emission offices, cribs, and ablution rooms.
Converting containers will involve oxy cutting, reinforcing walls, framing windows and doors, fabricating skids and frames for solar panels, etc.
Working Monday to Friday, 6:30am- 3:00pm, 45 hours per week, paying $58.50 flat per hour.
Great culture with opportunities for permanent roles after probation period.
Responsibilities:
Interpret workshop/structural drawings.
Cut, measure and tack materials to meet specifications.
Light to medium gauge fabrication.
Ability to work in a small team workplace.
Work with other trades to assist in installing windows, doors, insulation material, solar panels, etc.

Qualifications/Tickets/Licences:
Be an Australian Citizen or have Permanent Working Rights
Trade qualified as a Boilermaker or Coded Welder
Able to read drawings and have experience doing light structural fabrication
C Class Licence
