Role :Senior Automation Test Consultant – Python SME

Location : Sydney , Australia

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python .
Lead end-to-end test automation initiatives for web, API, and backend applications.
Develop automated test scripts using PyTest , Robot Framework , or similar Python-based frameworks.
Automate REST APIs using Python libraries (Requests, HTTPX, etc.).
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
Mentor team members on Python coding standards and automation best practices.
Review code, troubleshoot automation failures, and optimize framework performance.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts,



and product owners throughout the SDLC.
Prepare automation reports, dashboards, and quality metrics.

Mandatory Skills
10+ years in Software Testing with 5+ years of Python automation experience.
Robust expertise in Python programming.
Hands-on experience with PyTest , Robot Framework , or Behave .
Experience in Selenium with Python or Playwright with Python .
Robust API automation experience using Python.
Positive SQL skills for database validation.
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
