Buswest is seeking an experienced and motivated Panel Beater to join our maintenance team at our Armadale Depot. If you take pride in producing quality workmanship and enjoy working on a modern fleet of buses, we'd love to hear from you.
As part of our workshop team, you'll play an important role in ensuring our fleet remains safe, reliable, and presented to the highest standard for the communities we serve.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out panel repairs on buses and fleet vehicles.
Replacing damaged panels and components.
Straightening and aligning body panels and structural components.
Preparing vehicles for painting.
Working closely with mechanics, spray painters, and workshop staff.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
Completing repairs in accordance with company and safety standards.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Trade qualification as a Panel Beater (preferred).
Previous experience repairing heavy vehicles, buses, trucks, or commercial vehicles (desirable).
Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
Current driver's licence (HR licence advantageous but not essential).
