This is a hands-on role suited to a mechanically minded tradesperson who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and keeping critical equipment operating efficiently. If it has hydraulics or diesel power, you’ll be responsible for keeping it moving.

Metso
Striker
Telestack
Other mobile track-mounted crushing and screening equipment
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical, DC electrical and hydraulic faults.
Complete breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance.
Strip down, rebuild and overhaul crushing and screening equipment.
Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems and associated components.
Conduct servicing, inspections and planned maintenance activities.
Utilise diagnostic tools to identify faults and improve equipment reliability.
Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely,
efficiently and to a high standard.
Work collaboratively within a tight-knit maintenance team to minimise downtime.
Skills & Experience
Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Heavy Diesel / Mobile Plant / Mechanical).
Experience working on mobile track-mounted crushing and screening equipment.
Solid mechanical fault-finding skills.
Solid hydraulic and DC electrical knowledge.
Experience with diesel engines and mobile plant maintenance.
Robust safety focus and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Requirements
HR Driver’s Licence.
National Police Clearance (site dependent).
High Risk Forklift Licence.
Previous experience within mining, quarrying, or heavy industry settings.
Rigging Licence
