About the role
Conveniently located in the inner city and easily accessible by public transport, Syntro Health is seeking experienced Production Operators to join our manufacturing team. Working within our GMP facilities, you will be responsible for producing a variety of clinical trial formulations and dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, topical products, and oral solutions, using specialised equipment such as tablet presses, coaters, and blister packaging machines.
As a Production Operator, you will help ensure that Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) for Phase I to IV clinical trials are manufactured, documented, and handled to the highest quality standards, with strict adherence to GMP and GDP requirements.
What you'll be doing
Setup of equipment for manufacturing and packaging activities
Manufacturing and assembly of clinical products
Operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
Following SOPs
Support daily manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with GMP/GDP standards
Maintain data integrity and solid GDP practices
Cleaning of manufacturing equipment and facilities
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related life sciences discipline is desirable but not mandatory
Minimum 1 year experience working in a GMP manufacturing workplace
Good written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills;
Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
Experience in pharmaceutical packaging, manufacturing and maintenance
Experience with encapsulation, tableting, coating and use of associated equipment will be highly favourable
