The Opportunity

Mineral Resources is seeking experienced Advanced Riggers for upcoming construction projects across Western Australia.

These projects involve the construction of critical non-processing infrastructure, including:
Accommodation villages
Site office complexes
Fuel farms
Heavy vehicle workshops
Vehicle wash-down facilities
Crushing Plants

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the Supervisor, your duties will include:
Following all safety procedures to maintain a safe and productive work setting
Conducting daily inspections of lifting equipment including slings, chains, shackles and specialised lifting gear
Reading and interpreting structural marking plans for steel installation works
Performing and checking rigging techniques before lifts are executed
Assessing load weights and crane capacities




Reading and understanding engineered lifting studies for heavy and complex lifts
Assisting mechanical teams with conveyor fit-outs, hard skirts and dust covers
Reporting unsafe conditions or equipment faults immediately
Working collaboratively with mechanical fitters, boilermakers and piping crews

Required Tickets & Experience
Previous mining, construction or resources industry experience
HRWL – RA, RI & WP
Working at Heights (within 2 years)
Construction White Card
Unlimited Australian working rights
National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
