What You’ll Do
Companionship & social support.
Daily assistance – meal prep, errands, transport.
Personal care – showering, toileting, mobility (requires additional qualifications).
Light household duties – cleaning, gardening.
Nursing – wound care, medication management (requires additional qualifications).
Allied Health – Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Dietetics (requires additional qualifications).

Who We’re Looking For
People who are empathetic, responsible and dependable.
People who are experienced in aged care, disability, mental health, or general support work.
People who are looking to work independently with support from a trusted platform.

What You’ll Need
The right to work in Australia.
An Australian Business Number (ABN).
A valid Police Check (within 3 years).
Two references (character or skilled).




Relevant qualifications if offering personal or nursing care (e.g., Cert III, AHPRA registration).
Vehicle and comprehensive insurance if offering transport.

Nice to have
First Aid Certificate.
Manual Handling Certificate.
CPR.

What About the Pay?

Using CareVicinity as an independent contractor means you set your own rate. We simply deduct a 12.5% platform fee to help us provide you with the above advantages. There are no other hidden costs or fees; you earn what you deserve.
