About the Role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will take ownership of end‑to‑end weekly payroll processing for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy, navigating award complexities, and managing a variety of payroll scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
End‑to‑end processing of weekly payroll for circa 500 employees
Interpret and apply multiple awards, EBAs and payroll rules accurately
Manage overtime calculations, allowances and one‑off adjustments
Process new starters, terminations and payroll changes
Resolve payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards and company policies
Maintain accurate payroll records and reporting
Collaborate closely with payroll and finance stakeholders to support smooth payroll operations

About You




Minimum 5 years Australian payroll experience
Strong experience processing weekly payrolls in a high‑volume environment
Proven experience managing multiple modern awards and enterprise agreements
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills
Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively within a team
Ability to manage deadlines and thrive in a fast‑paced payroll environment
Experience with payroll systems and automated award interpretation tools highly regarded
