Nestled beneath Brisbane’s Story Bridge, Howard Smith Wharves is one of the city’s most energetic destinations—home to 13 restaurants, cafes, bars, event spaces and a hotel. From morning strolls to late-night celebrations, we bring people together with world-class food, hospitality, and culture.

With the award-winning Felons Brewery at our heart, our passion for exceptional service extends beyond the plate, we pride ourselves on creating clean, welcoming environments that make every experience unforgettable. Our Cleaners are a vital part of delivering that.

You’ll work closely with our Facilities team to ensure our venues and common areas are maintained to the highest standard. This role offers flexibility to work in morning (6:30am– 2:30pm) and afternoon/night (2:30pm–12:00am) shifts, including weekends.

Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring venues are cleaned and prepared for opening or restored after closing
Maintaining public restrooms and common areas across the precinct
Responding promptly to radio calls and cleaning requests




Following daily checklists and instructions to maintain consistent standards
Handling chemicals and equipment safely and in line with manufacturer guidelines
Keeping storage areas clean, organised, and hygienic
Supporting a clean and safe workplace for guests and team members

What we’re looking for:
Availability across weekdays and weekends, including early mornings and late nights
A robust work ethic and eye for detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valuable communication skills to report issues clearly and efficiently
Previous commercial or hospitality cleaning experience is highly regarded
Must have access to reliable transport due to late-night shifts
A passion for cleanliness, safety, and presenting spaces at their best
