Role Overview

Kurri Kurri Community Services (KKCS) is seeking Casual OOSH Educators to work across our services in Kurri Kurri, Gillieston Heights, and Paterson. Enjoy the flexibility of working morning shifts, afternoon shifts, or a mix of both while supporting school‑aged children in a fun, safe and engaging workplace. This is a perfect role for those studying education/childcare, working in education support, or looking to gain experience working with children. Permanent part‑time applicants will also be considered.

Casual rates from $34.39 – $43.63 per hour
Adaptable rostering across morning and/or afternoon shifts

What You'll Do
Supervise and support children in before/after school care and vacation care programs
Deliver fun, engaging activities (sports, games, creative play, social development)
Support children with diverse needs in an inclusive environment
Work collaboratively within a team across multiple sites
Maintain a safe environment,



including basic food prep and daily routines

You'll Need
Certificate III in School Age Education and Care, or working towards it (desirable)
Experience working with school‑aged children (desirable)
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
First Aid & CPR in Education & Care (HLTAID012)
Child Protection Training
Basic Food Handling Certificate
National Police Check
Driver's Licence

Shift Times

Morning: approx. 6:00am – 9:30am
Afternoon: approx. 2:30pm – 6:30pm
