We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our retail team in Brisbane, Queensland. This temporary, casual role is ideal for individuals looking to gain entry-level experience in the pharmacy sector. The Pharmacy Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and that the pharmacy runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Assist customers with their enquiries and provide information about products and services
Support pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing inventory
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy workplace
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
Handle stock management, including receiving and shelving deliveries
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Participate in training and development activities as required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not essential
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
A keen interest in healthcare and pharmacy practices
Completion of a Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (or equivalent qualification) is highly desirable.
