General Responsibilities
Teach inspiring Visual Arts lessons across Years 7–12.
Mentor Stage 6 Visual Arts students through Body of Work development.
Support exhibitions and showcases of student art making.
Contribute to co‑curricular activities across the College.
Work collaboratively within an creative CAPA faculty.
Engage in pastoral care and wellbeing activities for students.
First Year Responsibilities
Build strong positive relationships with students.
Contribute to the Visual Arts program.
Support Stage 6 students.
Participate in College life.
Contribute to exhibitions and community events.
Essential Selection Criteria
NESA accreditation.
Recognised teaching qualification with Visual Arts specialisation.
Teaching experience and commitment to professional growth.
Robust understanding of NESA syllabuses.
Excellent communication skills.
Commitment to values and ethos of a Christian school.
Desirable
Stage 6 Visual Arts experience.
Confidence using technology and digital platforms.
Experience programming, teaching and assessing student learning of Visual Arts courses.
Familiarity supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Reporting Responsibility
The successful applicant will be responsible to the Principal, through the Head of Senior School, with faculty reporting through the Head of CAPA (Creative and Performing Arts).
