FinXL is seeking a Python, SQL & Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Banking client on a key transformation engagement.

Responsibilities
Configure, manage, and support routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network services.
Develop Python scripts for network automation, system integrations, and operational efficiency.
Write optimised SQL queries, stored procedures, and support database performance tuning.
Monitor network availability, performance, and capacity to proactively identify improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network connectivity and infrastructure issues.
Leverage REST APIs, JSON, and XML for seamless data integration across systems.




Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Key Skills & Experience
Solid background in Network Engineering and Infrastructure Administration.
Hands-on experience configuring Cisco and Firewall products (e.g., CSM, FMC).
Demonstrated expertise in Python development for scripting and automation.
Proficient in SQL database design, query optimisation, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and data integration technologies.
Hands-on experience with version control and source code management tools.
Proven ability to work independently and deliver within rapid-paced environments.
