We work with one of the larger strata management businesses in the market. They are hiring an Insurance Specialist to join their central insurance team, keeping policies current and claims moving across the schemes they manage.
The role
You will help manage the insurance position across a large portfolio of strata plans. A lot of the job is keeping policies up to date, staying on top of renewals, and being the point of contact for brokers, underwriters and owners.
Keep insurance records and policies current across a portfolio of strata plans, making sure every scheme holds valid, compliant cover.
Track renewals, update policy details, and flag gaps, shortfalls or expiries before they become a problem.
Liaise with brokers, underwriters and larger broking firms to place cover, process renewals and chase down technical queries.
Coordinate claims end to end, keeping insurers, brokers, owners and committees updated and checking policy wordings to get the right outcome.
Be the day to day point of contact on insurance for strata managers and the wider group.
About you
A background in or around insurance, whether at a broker, underwriting agency, insurer or strata business. We are agnostic on where you come from.
A positive understanding of how insurance works, including claims processes and policy wordings.
Organised, detail-driven and comfortable juggling a lot of policies and stakeholders at once.
Exposure to strata insurance is a robust advantage, but not essential if you know insurance well and want to specialise.
Likely earlier in your career and after a role with depth and a explicit path forward.
