Taurus is a privately owned and operated specialist mining supplier with various clients around Australia.

On behalf of our client who is a mining and civil contractor we are looking for a Yardsperson for their Kalgoorlie Workshop. ASAP start on offer.

HRWL-LF (Forklift Licence) is required.

These will be a permanent position with our client after a labour hire period.

About the Role:

This role is based in Kalgoorlie on a Monday to Friday roster 10 hour shifts. 6am to 4pm

Duties will include but not limited to:
Taking vehicles for scheduled servicing
Stocktaking, inventory control, and managing parts and consumables, loading/unloading delivery trucks, receiving and recording deliveries
Liaising with suppliers and coordinating deliveries
Assisting the Maintenance Team with daily yard operations and maintaining a clean, secure, and organised yard workplace.
Operating equipment as required including IT and Forklift

ESSENTIAL




Experience in a similar role - stock handling, procurement, work orders, yard responsibilities
Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
Computer abilities including use of Excel
Ability to work safely and follow procedures
You must be able to provide a CLEAN National Police Clearance under 6 months old.
Unrestricted Working rights in Australia.
A commitment to your own safety and those who work with you.
Successful candidates will also be required to pass a pre-employment medical drug & alcohol test (at our expense) and regular onsite D&A; testing.

What's in it for you?
Casual flat rate of $50 per hour.
