Capital Hoist Repair is growing, and we're looking for a Junior Installation Assistant to join our team and learn the trade from the ground up.
This is a hands-on role — you'll be working alongside our lead installer on real jobs from day one, learning how hoists are installed, serviced, and made protected. No prior experience is needed. If you're reliable, physically fit, and genuinely want to learn a trade, we'll teach you the rest.
What you'll be doing:
Working directly alongside a lead technician on installation jobs
Learning rigging, lifting, and safe installation practices on the job
Handling tools, equipment, and site prep
Following safety procedures and instructions precisely
What we need from you:
A valid driver's licence
Full working rights in Australia — please note we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role
Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and with heavy equipment
Reliable, punctual, and a solid work ethic
Willing to learn — mechanically minded or handy with tools is a big plus
No experience required — full training provided, including safety certifications
