Stanes Transport is a locally owned and operated family business based in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Driver & Warehouse/Store Person to join our team.

At Stanes Transport, teamwork, professionalism, and customer service are at the heart of everything we do. This is not a typical transport position. Our work takes us across some of Australia's most remote and unique landscapes, travelling on unsealed, corrugated, and dirt roads throughout the Northern Territory, Western Australia, and South Australia. This role offers the opportunity to experience parts of the country that few people ever get to see.

For this role, you must have: -

-HR License (minimum 1 year)

-Forklift License (LF or LO)

-Solid focus on safety and attention to detail

-Excellent communication skills

-Reliability and strong work ethic

-Ability to pass a medical and/or drug & alcohol screening

-A desire to upskill and learn remote driving

Key Responsibilities:

-Unloading and loading freight

-Loading trucks for remote travel





-Warehouse organization

-Town deliveries and day trips to communities

-Obtaining HC license within 6 months and moving into remote deliveries (some overnights required)

-Truck & forklift maintenance

-Working as a part of a team

-Maintaining a clean and secure working environment

-Yard duties
