We are seeking an experienced Fleet Controller with a strong background in container transport and wharf operations to join our Operations team in Welshpool.
About the Role
This is a fast-paced operational role where you'll coordinate daily container movements to and from Fremantle Port, ensuring efficient fleet utilisation and outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily container deliveries and collections.
Allocate and manage driver schedules for maximum fleet efficiency.
Plan around vessel arrivals, wharf operations and container availability.
Liaise with drivers, customers, wharf operators and shipping lines.
Monitor fleet movements and resolve operational issues quickly.
Ensure service deadlines are met while maintaining safety and compliance.
About You
To be successful,
you will have:
Proven Fleet Controller experience within container transport.
Strong knowledge of Fremantle Port, wharf operations and container logistics.
Excellent planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
The ability to remain calm and make decisions in a busy, time-critical environment.
Robust computer skills and experience with transport management systems.
