Your Current Company Our client is a large and diverse organisation delivering essential services across multiple locations. With a busy finance function supporting a substantial workforce, they are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join the team on a 6-month contract and provide immediate support across payroll and finance operations.

Your New Role

This is a hands-on Finance Officer position with a strong payroll focus. You'll spend around 60% of your time supporting payroll processing and compliance, with the remainder dedicated to reconciliations, journals, reporting and month-end activities.

Key duties include
Fortnightly payroll processing and timesheet administration.
Reconciliations, journals and general ledger support.
Assisting with month-end reporting and BAS preparation.
Maintaining payroll and financial data within TechnologyOne.




Supporting ad hoc finance projects and team initiatives. What you need to succeed You will be an experienced Finance, Payroll or Accounts professional with a strong understanding of payroll processing, financial administration and month-end support. Confident working within ERP systems and operating in a fast-paced setting, you'll be ready to make an immediate impact from the outset.
