Metier Health is seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our Mount Gambier and Millicent team. In this rewarding role, you will provide person-centred, empowering support to people living with disability, helping them live independently, achieve their goals, and actively participate in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide person-centred support in line with each participant's goals, preferences, and support plans.
Assist with personal care, daily living activities, meal preparation, household tasks, and medication support (where required).
Support participants to access the community, attend appointments, and engage in social and recreational activities.
Promote independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion in all aspects of support.
Build positive, respectful, and skilled relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders.
Implement Behaviour Support Plans and follow risk management strategies where applicable.
Maintain accurate progress notes, incident reports, and other required documentation.
Work collaboratively with the wider team while complying with NDIS Practice Standards,



organisational policies, and workplace health and safety requirements.

What We’re Looking For:
A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
A current Working with Children Check (where applicable).
A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, or a related qualification, or a willingness to obtain one.
Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR certification.
Full Australian working rights.
A current Australian Driver Licence
Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, sleepover, and public holiday shifts.
Previous experience supporting people with disability (experience with complex supports is highly regarded).
Availability to work in your preferred service locations.
Solid communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for supporting people to live independently.
