About the Role

As an Electrical Leading Hand, you’ll play a key role on the workshop floor, leading by example, supporting the team, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a qualified electrician ready to take the next step in their career.

What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and coordinate day-to-day workshop activities within the switchboard assembly team
Mentor and support tradespeople and apprentices to build capability and accountability
Champion a robust safety culture, identify risks, drive safe behaviours, and uphold standards
Ensure all work meets quality specifications, drawings, and compliance requirements
Work closely with supervisors and production teams to meet deadlines across a busy pipeline
Take ownership of your area,



driving productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For
Qualified Electrician (A-Grade or equivalent)
Experience in switchboard manufacturing or industrial electrical assembly
A natural leader or someone with strong leadership ambitions ready to step up
A genuine commitment to safety, quality, and accountability
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
Solid communication skills and a team-first mindset
High standards, attention to detail, and pride in your work
