We are seeking an experienced Salesforce User Experience Lead to join a major federal government digital program. Working across complex Salesforce-supported platforms, you will lead user-centred design activities and help deliver intuitive, inclusive and accessible experiences. You will collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers and architects to translate user needs into practical, scalable design solutions.

Key responsibilities
Lead user research, co-design, prototyping and usability testing activities.
Provide expert advice on user workflows, interaction design and UX patterns within Salesforce environments.
Translate user insights into prototypes, user stories, design requirements and supporting artefacts.
Facilitate workshops and testing sessions with a diverse range of users and stakeholders.
Ensure designs meet accessibility, inclusive-design and organisational standards.




Guide teams in applying appropriate UX patterns within Salesforce platform constraints.
Coach multidisciplinary teams and support the uplift of user-centred design capability.
Document design decisions and patterns to support governance, consistency and reuse.
Demonstrated experience leading user-centred design in complex digital environments.
Strong experience across research, co-design, prototyping and usability testing.
Ability to translate user requirements into transparent design artefacts for multidisciplinary delivery teams.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex design concepts clearly.
Experience designing for Salesforce-supported environments, including an understanding of platform constraints and interaction patterns.
Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery settings.
Solid knowledge of accessibility and inclusive-design standards.
Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, formerly Communities, Vlocity/OmniStudio, enterprise design systems or component-based UI governance will be highly regarded.
