Job OverviewInverell District Hospital located in Inverell, NSW is an acute bed facility offering care to the community, including day surgery, high dependency, 24‑hour emergency and outpatients.PositionYou’ll be the sole Doctor in charge of Emergency Medicine, providing vital care to patients in our bustling Emergency Department. Locums must remain onsite for the entire shift, ensuring prompt and continuous care, except for designated breaks.Responsibilities- Shift coverage Day (0800‑2000) and Night (2000‑0800) in the Emergency Department.
Provide continuous emergency care and manage critical cases.
Remain on site for the entire shift, except for designated breaks.
After more than 7 days on call, fulfil 2 mandatory rest days for fatigue management.
Collaborate with on‑site anaesthetics, gynaecology and remote retrieval teams and work closely with GP/VMO staff.Advantages- Accommodation provided.
Travel up to $800 reimbursed (flights or mileage only).
A fleet car may be provided on request.
