What you’ll deliver with us

As our Cloud FinOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building and maturing Australia Post’s cloud financial management capability. You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, finance and operations,



helping application teams understand, optimise and take ownership of their cloud consumption — without compromising performance, security or delivery.

Reporting to the Cloud FinOps Lead within Trusted Technical Services – Cloud & Infrastructure, you’ll work closely with cloud platform teams, application managers, finance business partners and engineering leaders across Australia Post and StarTrack.

You’ll also:
Monitor, analyse and optimise cloud spend across AWS, GCP and Azure, with a solid focus on GCP workloads
Partner with application teams to design and implement cost‑efficient architectures, guardrails and optimisation strategies
Identify savings opportunities through rightsizing, scheduling and resource optimisation, and support teams to implement them
Develop and uplift FinOps reporting and tooling (including CloudAbility), providing t
