Job Details
Position: Casual Dishhand / Kitchen Hand
Location: Blackboard Varsity
Hours: Flexible/Rostered shifts (including weekends - no nights)
Pay Rate: Casual hourly rate under the Restaurant Industry Award
What You Will Do
Washing up: Run the commercial dishwasher, wash pots, pans, and cutlery.
Keeping clean: Wipe down benches, empty bins, sweep, and mop floors.
Basic prep: Help chefs
Team support: Keep the pass clear and help out wherever needed during a rush.
What We Are Looking For
Good energy: Able to work rapid and stay calm when it gets busy.
Fit and active: Happy to be on your feet for a whole shift and lift heavy tubs.
Reliable: Shows up on time and ready to work.
Experience: Nice to have, but a great attitude is more significant—we will train you!
