We are seeking an experienced Appian Solution Architect to lead the architecture and design of enterprise‑grade Appian applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Appian platform capabilities and will be responsible for defining scalable, secure, and reusable architecture frameworks while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and enterprise architects to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end architecture for Appian‑based applications and solutions.
Ensure alignment of Appian solutions with enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks.
Define scalable, secure, and reusable architecture frameworks and components for Appian implementations.
Translate business requirements into technical design artifacts, including:
Solution Architecture Documents (SAD)
High‑Level Design (HLD)
Low‑Level Design (LLD)
Provide technical guidance on:
Integration strategies
Performance optimization
Collaborate with business analysts,
developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Appian solutions.
Provide architecture governance and ensure best practices across the development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Expertise
8+ years of overall IT experience with 4+ years of hands‑on Appian development and architecture experience.
Solid expertise in Appian architecture and application development.
Hands‑on experience with Appian versions 21.x and above.
Deep understanding of core Appian components, including SAIL (Self‑Assembling Interface Layer), Process Models, Records, Reports, Interfaces.
Experience in designing scalable and high‑performing Appian solutions.
Solid knowledge of integration approaches with enterprise systems.
Ability to define reusable components and frameworks for Appian implementations.
Experience working with cross‑functional teams in Agile delivery environments is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
Appian certification(s) (e.g., Appian Lead Developer or Architect).
Experience with enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and microservices.
Solid documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
