About the Chance

An established Goldfields mining and civil contractor is seeking an experienced Civil Excavator Operator to join our growing team. This is a residential position for someone based in the Goldfields who enjoys working across a variety of mine-site civil projects. We offer ongoing work, a versatile roster and the opportunity to be part of a small, professional team where quality workmanship is valued.

About the Role

You will be involved in a range of mining civil activities including:
Civil earthworks
Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) works
Drainage and water management
V-drain construction
Soakwell installation
Road construction and maintenance
Final trim excavation
Loading trucks and stockpile management
Daily machine inspections and pre-starts
Working safely in accordance with site procedures

About You

The successful applicant will have:
Demonstrated experience operating excavators on civil projects
Previous mine-site experience
Excellent machine operating skills with attention to detail




Ability to work independently and safely
Solid communication skills
Current C Class Driver's Licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Desirable
TSF or water management experience
HR Driver's Licence
Experience operating additional civil plant
