Southern Volkswagen is seeking a dedicated and highly organised Workshop Controller to join our growing team. This is an exciting chance for experienced technicians or workshop controller who want to transition into a leadership role, managing workshop operations and driving excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day management of workshop activities, ensuring timely and efficient completion of all tasks
• Coordinate and support a team of technicians, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction
• Monitor workshop performance, productivity, and quality control
• Maintain an organised and efficient workflow, managing parts and resources effectively
• Assist in training and development for team members
Preferred Experience:
• Previous experience as a qualified automotive technician, with a solid understanding of repair and maintenance processes
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
• Volkswagen experience will be highly regarded, but not essential
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
