Job Summary

Assist in the manufacture and refurbishment of polyurethane-coated rollers and industrial components. Responsibilities included stripping old polyurethane and rubber from rollers using a lathe, operating forklifts, preparing products for recoating, packing customer orders, and supporting daily factory operations while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Stripped worn polyurethane and rubber coatings from industrial rollers using a basic lathe.





· Prepared rollers and components for polyurethane recoating and refurbishment.

· Assisted with polyurethane manufacturing, casting, finishing, and general production

· processes .

· Operated forklifts to load, unload, move, and store materials and finished products.

· Packed, labelled, and prepared customer orders for dispatch.

· Performed quality inspections on products and components.

· Used hand and power tools safely and effectively.

· Assisted with stock handling and inventory management.

· Maintained a clean, organised, and protected workshop and factory setting.

· Followed all workplace health and safety procedures and PPE requirements.

· Assist with general factory labouring and production support tasks as required.
