On & Off Road 4x4 is an area landmark, specialist in Brendale on Brisbane's North side. A one stop four wheel drive service and repair facility. We work on all makes, all models, all eras. In addition we carry out modifications, accessory fitting and diesel performance work. We are seeking a senior Technician to join our team. The business is owner operated and offers variety of work.

It is a busy well presented workshop with a high volume of work available. The position offers a good income and a friendly working workplace. The business trades Monday to Friday only. Weekly staff BBQ. Uniform and PPE provided. Secure off street parking for staff also provided.

As a senior Technician you should have robust diagnostic skills, particularly with contemporary diesel engines. The ability to work on older vehicles is also desirable. You should be able to knock out a day's servicing in good time and be able to tackle large mechanical jobs. Ideally you have a Roadworthy Inspector Certificate a must or be willing to obtain.





Recent dealership workshop experience and/or Manufacturers technical product training on any major brand and its associated 4x4 models is highly regarded.

Experience on the front counter as a service advisor also highly regarded but not essential, additionally good telephone manner, typing skills, ability to generate job estimates. Training can be provided.

You should be able to work as part of a team and assume a leadership role when needed, assist mechanics with diagnostic strategies, train apprentices.

Must be qualified light vehicle mechanic and MUST have work rights in Australia (Citizen or permanent resident). Must have an unrestricted C class drivers licence. Temporary residents on student visas need not apply.
