ARE Services WA is a WA-based communications company specialising in underground mining communications systems, leaky feeder infrastructure and specialised radio communications equipment.
We are looking for a motivated young electrician who has recently completed their apprenticeship and wants to build a long-term career in communications and mining technology.
This is not your standard electrical role.
You will be trained in underground communications systems including leaky feeder installations, radio systems, fibre, fault finding, commissioning and mine communications auditing. Over time, you will develop into a lead communications technician capable of running projects and managing site works independently.
The role involves regular FIFO and site travel across WA, so we are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on field work, learning current systems and working in challenging environments.
