Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care: Assist with daily hygiene tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming) while ensuring comfort and privacy
Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
Household Tasks: Help with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and shopping
Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to foster social interaction and mental well-being
Health Monitoring: Report any changes in health or behavior to the office team
Transportation: Assist clients with transportation to appointments or social events
Documentation: Keep accurate records of care provided and report any concerns
What You Bring:
The right to work unrestricted in Australia (evidence required)
A current National Police Records Check,
dated within the last 3 months (or willingness to apply)
Certificate in Aged Care or Community Care or Disability is desirable
A Working with Children Check (or willingness to apply)
An NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to apply)
A current Australian driver’s license
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Minimum of 2 doses COVID 19 Vaccination
Being bilingual is desirable but not necessary
Empathy, patience, and respect for the individuality of those you care for
Solid communication skills and the ability to collaborate with care teams
Understanding of aged care and disability issues
