About the Role
As a Casual Sorter, you'll help transform generous community donations into quality stock for our Lifeline Shops.
What You’ll Do
Sort donated goods according to Lifeline quality standards.
Prepare stock for distribution to retail stores.
Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.
Support the Distribution Centre team with daily warehouse operations.
Follow all WHS and manual handling procedures.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Experience in warehousing, retail, sorting or customer service.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Robust communication and teamwork skills.
A positive, flexible and reliable attitude.
A genuine commitment to Lifeline's mission and values.
Previous charity or not-for-profit experience is highly regarded.
WWCC, police check or willingness to obtain.
Desirable:
Experience in the not-for-profit, retail, or warehousing sector.
Knowledge of secure manual handling and WHS practices.
