About the Role
We are seeking a adaptable and reliable Catering Assistant who will be responsible for preparing, cooking and delivering food and meals to our Aged Care residents. A friendly and welcoming demeanor is a must. There are multiple positions available at our Murray Bridge facility Romani.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing, cooking and delivering food to a group of people according to set menus
Supporting residents with special meals and dietary requirements
Working with the management of the facility
Promoting food and kitchen hygiene and safety practices, to ensure compliance requirements are met
Monitoring temperature control checks for all meals, cool rooms and freezers
Responsible for kitchen hygiene and cleanliness of the area
About You
Demonstrated experience and a passion for working in Aged Care.
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including Booster shot) and 2026 Seasonal Influenza vaccination
Positive understanding of food safety procedures
NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain same
Positive communication skills
Enjoy working in the evening
