We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Credit Assessor to join one of Australia’s leading personal loan providers. Handy Finance is a leading fintech with a mission to Make Money Easy and this his role represents an opportunity to support an incredibly exciting, rapid-growing financial technology company (‘FinTech’), that offers substantial personal and professional development opportunities.
What you’ll do
You will be responsible for preparing credit application files for decisioning by a credit manager. As a Credit Assessor, your role will entail:
Following up customers daily for the information required to complete an assessment
Assessing credit risk and providing pricing and outcome recommendations for personal loan applications;
Accurately assessing a customer’s loan application and validating data in line with policy and regulations;
Being responsible for the quality of files to ensure correct and complete information is available to enable settlement to proceed.
Developing strong credit assessment and structuring skills by working with a diverse customer set;
Responding to enquiries and qualifying customers for finance by completing the application process with customers over the phone and via email.
Providing outstanding customer service to customers and vendor partners. This includes assisting with group inbox management, resolving loan and account enquiries, appeals or complaints in a timely manner.
What you’ll bring:
Experience in a fast-paced call centre environment
Good quantitative and analytical skills
Great interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferably available to work from 1pm - 9pm on Weekdays
